This is a very special, stand out accommodation and destination. The river Pod is simply stunning. So well designed and it has absolutely everything you could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. We all felt at home and relaxed from the moment Theresa Ann met us at the location. We brought our 11 year old twin grandsons away as an early birthday celebration. They were so thrilled to see that Theresa Ann had thought of them as well as us leaving treats especially for them. I cannot recommend this get away highly enough. Me and my husband are already planning a trip back on our own. Thank you Theresa Ann. You are a special person and a superb host. Teresa was the perfect host. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely book again. All the extra touches she did for us were lovely. We loved our stay at the River Pod !. Great location, in amongst the boats on the River Hamble which is very picturesque. Teresa was so welcoming. It was our 51st wedding anniversary and she had pulled out all the stops . Bubbly on ice, banners, chocolates, balloons, bed covered in red & white petals. Etc etc. So much was provided. Milk, butter, and lemons in the fridge (for your drinks). Biccies, coffees, teas, cereals and much, much more . So wonderful. Everybody on site was friendly, and welcoming, boat owners, staff etc. Great fishmongers on-site (recommend the Whitebait! ). A Chinese takeaway too ( didn’t use them) . We found somewhere different to visit every day ( ruined Abbeys, Mary Rose Museum , even the Burlesdon Brickworks Museum ( 3mins away) is a wonderful interesting visit for kids and adults ( don’t miss the Rev Valentine Fletchers Chimney Pot collection! ). We fed the ducks and Hissing Sid (the Swan), and just watched the tide roll in and out ! WONDERFUL STUFF !

Thank you SO much for another wonderful stay. Not only did you accommodate my children with sweets, crab fishing 🦀 and feeding the ducks 🦆 and swans 🦢 but also helping me with my elderly mother. Being flexible and adjusting our check in and out times due to low tide and the gang plank being so steep for her. Meeting us on arrival, pouring us bubbles and making us feel totally relax. We really enjoyed our stay on the floating cabin. Our kids had fun with crabbing and fishing. The accommodation was super clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. Well….10* is not enough for Teresa and the place. It was an absolute gem 💎. Honestly well worth the money. We had a great time on the river boat. I would recommend this to anybody we only had two days, but we wish we had stayed longer as the weather was gorgeous and the location is great. Some good places to eat nearby and it's lovely being by the water.!
