this is the place for you. Set in a marina this lovely houseboat sleeps 2 adults and 2 young children.It is a spacious modern living space for a small family and with much to do on the marina. The children spent hours on the decking catching and watching fish meandering. They learned how the tides worked and everyone they spoke with on the marina was engaging and pleasant to them. A different world for us as we live in the country and this small taste of boat life was as exciting as it gets for young children.

Teresa really does go the extra mile to make it a wonderful place to celebrate!

Smells amazing when you enter. Heating was on to make it extra cosy and welcoming.Extras she leave go above and beyond anywhere I have previously stayed! Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Will definitely return again.

We loved our stay at the river pod and wished we had booked longer. The pod was spotless, nicely decorated and had everything you could possibly need. There were lots of nice little touches especially the bottle of bubbly and chocolates as we went for our anniversary. Teresa was the perfect host, very friendly and gave great recommendations of local walks and restaurants. We will definitely recommend the pod to others and would love to return at some point.

After a week of touring, I wanted peaceful beauty, water, and ease and Teresa’s place was beyond all expectations. Teresa stands above all the wonderful hosts I have experienced these many years using Airbnb, as she provides plethora of comfort items and worthy breakfast and coffee/tea/coca treats coupled with supper comfortable bedding, pleasant shower, and very usable kitchen. Her decor is beautiful as is her amazing attention to details that make the visit superior. I thank her for establishing this experience for all of us!!!

Such a relaxing place to stay! Teresa is a wonderful host, gave lots of information about the local area and provided basic groceries and some lovely extras, which included a bottle of Prosecco and a couple of beers. Went over and above to make us welcome.

Such a lovely 48 hours stay. The boat pod is awesome. We stayed with the two kids 13&11. They enjoyed the crabbing every morning.

Just spent a fabulous weekend at the River Beds for my 50th birthday.

Teresa welcomed us upon arrival who explained everything clearly and showed us around.

We were very touched by the effort she went to to help us celebrate my birthday, we were welcomed with cards, bottle of fizz, birthday banners and treats!

The river pod was faultless, extremely clean with everything you could need in a nice location with views of the river and boats.

Teresa has spent a lot of time thinking through every detail which you are reminded of throughout the whole accommodation.

I cannot thank her enough and genuinely can say it’s a place you could visit over and over again!

Teresa really went the extra mile to make my husband’s birthday extra special. The River Bed is absolutely beautiful, well designed and really well equipped. We just loved being able to paddle straight from the door. It really is a wonderful place to stay!

Three of us loved staying on this house boat, being right on the water is instantly relaxing. The pod has been beautifully designed to Teresa’s specification, she has gone the extra mile adding lots of lovely touches that are a fun surprise and make you feel very welcome. It is five star luxury with the fun of being on a boat and the practicality of being a decent sized space. The pod is moored in the marina but feels quite private in its location. The beds are really comfortable. I would choose to stay here again and thoroughly recommend it.
